DSL Amnesty International Cook Off Competition!

WHAT: International Cookoff Competition at Penn State Dickinson School of Law.
WHEN: Thursday, February 1st, 2007. 7:30 pm
WHERE: Cafe at Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle

Come to Compete or Come to Eat!
All are invited: students, faculty, administration, family, and friends of Penn State Dickinson School of Law. (UP - this means you too, please attend and compete!)

The Event: Amnesty International is hosting an International Cookoff Competition where competitors will cook up their best international recipes for everyone to come taste. Those who attend will vote on the winning recipes. This is a fundraising event!
The post-event Cookbook: All of the recipes entered into the competition will be compiled into the first official Dickinson School of Law International Cookbook. All submitted recipes will be included to be published and photographed in the cookbook.

Competitors: If you have a 'regional' or 'international' recipe that you'd like to share with the rest of the school, please sign up to compete. Your recipe could win "best recipe" in one of various categories - prizes will be awarded! (Yes, this also includes U.S. recipes that are "regionally-themed," such as Maryland Crabcakes, Memphis BBQ, etc)
Everyone else - Free food! Come eat! Try out the cooking skills of your fellow students, faculty and staff, and support your friends who are competing. You will get to sample all of the different recipes, and YOU decide who wins by voting at the end.
Tickets are only $3, and will support fundraising for Amnesty human rights initiatives, along with the production of the Cookbook.

(Even if you have a recipe but are not able or do not want to compete in the actual Cookoff, you can still submit a recipe to be included in the cookbook.)

If you would like to compete: Please email me your name and the name/title of your international recipe (you do not have to submit the actual recipe itself yet.)
If you would like to attend: You can get your tickets by emailing me the number of tickets needed.

THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT
