Meeting Info and Upcoming Elections

As I mentioned in an earlier email,

We will be electing the new board at NEXT TUESDAY'S MEETING.

If you are interested, please send me a brief statement explaining why you are running for a particular position and what you may contribute to the organization.

Also, June will lead a teach-in on human rights issues/abuses occuring in North Korea.

Again, all positions are open. We have members running for President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and will have a new position of Letter Writing Coordinator (working with the President and Vice President).

Katrina and I are also working on refining our last event of the semester. Hip Hop for Human Rights: a Focus on Blood Diamonds.
